Favorite racing moment: Winning my
first race at age 18, the runner up complained that the tree didn't
work right so they re-ran the final and I beat him again. Driving
to Anchorage Alaska with Darrell Webb to put on an exhibition
show. Arrived in town to see the posters saying "The Big

in Bakersfield at the Hot Rod Reunion 2009.
Heroes of the sport: Met John Force
on a Flight to Edmonton, he was coming to a fund raising banquet
for our new race track so visited and hung out with him on the
plane. When I got to the banquet I was standing with a bunch of
racers socializing when John walked up and said "Hey Cal,
hows it going" you should have seen the looks on the faces
of all my racing buddies.
